The seventh solo exhibition of the Artplakata creative workshop – “Summer in the Rearview Mirror” – presents a collection of special importance to the author.

The exhibition will feature collage works created on large-format canvases, further highlighting their energy and uniqueness.

Artplakata’s distinctive works combine seemingly incompatible elements with Croatian and European cities, bringing in a positive atmosphere and going beyond conventional depictions of well-known city streets, parks, landmarks, and locations. For the past six years, Croatia’s rich architectural heritage, cultural uniqueness, and authenticity have served as the author’s main inspiration, revealing cities in an entirely new light and rekindling imagination and interest in what is “already familiar and seen.”

The works of Artplakata offer a fresh perspective on Croatian cities and landscapes through a nostalgic, retro approach, infused with vibrant colors, playful compositions, and the artist’s distinctive signature. It is precisely this fusion of artistic freedom and personal expression that makes the exhibition unique, encouraging viewers to rediscover the beauty of cities we too often take “for granted.”

The exhibition “Summer in the Rearview Mirror” at FLO:R will be open to the public from October 1, 2025, while the full collection of works is available on the official website: www.artplakata.com.
